The Water Maiden has a multitude of complexities contained within her essence. The combination of the two opposing spirits of Fire and Water are both contained WITHIN woman. She is the unifier, the balance of opposites. Recall the Greek symbol for woman is the closed loop signifying complete containment. The 'completeness' of a closed circle also reflects a way of life where all things together create the whole as opposed to treating each element individully and seperate from the whole.
